1 Yeats

Subjects > German

1 Yeats German class have been working with their teacher Frau Matthews and the Austrian assistant Frau Genner to learn about the culture of German speaking countries.

After learning some basic conversation phrases, greetings, numbers and days of the week, the 1 Yeats students progressed to learning about German/Austrian food and drink.

Their recent German breakfast was a huge success. Eier, Brot, Milch, Tee and Nutella were all on the menu. The students brought in Nesquik and other chocolate drinks also and the meal was very authentic.

Paddy's Eierkocher was a very popular gadget on the day, with all of the students and a few teachers enjoying some hardboiled eggs!
